Opening George Hakim boutique in Geneva

Last night I attended the opening of the high end jewellery George Hakim in Geneva.
The location is absolutely superb, inside the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva.
The opening was very well organized and very smart with even a violinist playing in the background.
I had chance to visit the boutique, and let me say the collection is out of this world! The jewellery in there are a dream!
I was lucky to meet Mr. Hakim and his family, it is nice to think a family business like theirs has achieved so much. It is their first boutique in Switzerland but last Summer I had chance to see their boutique in Dubai.
Food ans drinks were also delicious and very well presented, from canapes to sweets everything was so good.
We had some photos taken by a professional photographer which was nice and we even got a framed photo to take home together with a litle gift.
I really enjoyed the night and thanks for inviting me!!

My top 3 - Current favourite bags

I must say I have many bags so It is hard to choose between them but recently I certainly have some favourite!
My top 3 is:

-my Celine trio in red
-my Proenza Schouler PS11 chain wallet
-my Saint Laurent mini duffle studdded bag

They seem to be the bags I use the most, I worn the Celine quite a lot over the festive period, and I still do. I just love the shape , the leather and everything about the trio.
That is also why having already the trio in black I have decided to get another one!

The Proenza Schouler well  that was my Christmas sale find..and what a find it was.. I just love it!
It is also in my favourite colour royal blue and although is not very big, as It is basically a chain wallet is very practical for shopping or a night out when you just need your cards , money and a lippy!

And last but not least the Saint Laurent mini studded  duffle.. Well what can I say that I have not already said. I think I made clear I love the bag, I had been lusting over this bag since last Summer.
The details, the leather, everything about this bag are just fab!
I can carry in two ways,too so that is also a plus.

First outing for my new Saint Laurent mini duffle

Feeling a bit better after a bad cold, I thought it was the right time to take out my Saint Laurent mini duffle for the first time!
I just love this bag!
It is not very big but you can fit in a fair amount of stuff, even my Balenciaga continental wallet fits !
For this look I am wearing 7for All Mankind  jeans , Zara coat and Louis Vuitton logomania scarf in Verone and UGG miny bling boots.

Black & white look with my new camden boots

I am so happy  that the boots I have ordered a few days ago online, are already here!
Of course I had to wear them straight away!
I saw this kind of boots namely Camden boots all over the place in England,  but I was not able to get a pair that fit me then. So I am so happy I found this pair on Newlook website, and they were even reduced! What not to like??
I think I will wear them a lot as  they go well with jeans, leggins but also with dresses come Spring.
I have put together this look deciding to go for black and white with my Isabel Marant for H&M pants taking centre stage!
The jacket is another great sale find from Zara. The embroidery and the details on the jacket are just fab!

My new Saint Laurent mini duffle studded bag

If you follow me on IG you probably knew I loved this bag from the first time I saw it last Summer.. obviously that was in the shop window of my favourite store Shuga in Lugano so I will not lie to you I am over the moon that is finally mine!!!
And what a bag.. Saint Laurent mini duffle is a great bag, soft leather with studded details  and suede lining inside, can be worn also as a shoulder bag thanks to the strap.
I just love it❤❤❤

Clinique superdefense SPF 20 daily defense moisturizer review

Clinique Superdefence moisturizer new improved formula now comes with SPF 20 , previously it was SPF 25 and it is available in two versions: very dry to dry combination and oily to combination.
The product – a new daily moisturiser – is said to deliver all-day hydration, an SPF and a blend of anti-oxidants. 
The formula also incorporates photosomes – enzymes that help minimise the appearance of UV damage.
Other key ingredients include the anti-oxidants Vitamin C and E; the anti-irritants sea whip extract and caffeine; and the barrier-building ingredients barley and wheatgerm extract. 
The cream feels very luxurious and sinks in easily even if it is a

rich formula, my skin feels hydraded all day even in cold weather and I love the fact that there is a SPF.
It does not feel greasy , does not cause me any breakouts and I feel it works well under my Clinique CC cream.
I assume due to my dry/ combination skin that this cream would be too rich for me in the Summer months but I can certainly say it has already  become a  favourite of mine for the rest of the year.

7 for all mankind jeans

Today I went to fox town a designer outlet to go to my favourite jeans store 7 for all mankind.
I was so happy that sales were on!
I have got two pairs of jeans a black pair and a pale green/acqua colour, they will be great come Spring/Summer!
Some of you have asked me why are these jeans so special.. Well what I know is that they have a great fit and they feel great on! I always had great difficulties in finding a pair of jeans that fit right! Well these jeans do!!
Since buying my first pair it is basically all I wear for jeans I now own almost 10 pairs.

Sales Shopping

I love sales so in the last few days I went to have a look around!
I was not disappointed as there are quite a few good items reduced!
All the major high street retailers have sales on , some already of 50% off or more.
I have found some nice items in Zara and H&M.  I will reveal them in my next post😀

My holidays buys

I love shopping in England! This time sales were on so it was even better!
We hit the shops in Manchester on a busy Saturday morning but that didnt stop me !
I am so glad we started in Selfridges as that is where I found my Proenza Schouler Ps11 chain wallet bag in the sales..and in my favourite colour royal blue!!
I still cant believe it!
There were quite a few good buys in Selfridges, I also got a Celine bracelet that was also discounted! The colour is quite peachy and I figured will look good with some other golden bracelets come Spring.
There were sales basically in any single shop!!!
When I am in England I usually stock up on beauty products so I was happy to find a few giftsets at Boots reduced by half price!
I was looking forward to go to the recently opened Victorias Secret shop in Meadowhall shopping centre. I was lucky enough to find some great items on sale.
I got a lovely hoody with the wings on the back , some socks, some nice nightwear and so happy I found the tshirt of the VS 2013 fashion show!
