In 1989: NYC boutique falls in love with the artistry of Burt's Bees candles so they start shipping them.

In 1991: Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is added to line. It quickly becomes a besteller.




In 1994: Burt's Bees relocate to North Carolina

In 1998: The Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream is added to the line , winner of 30 Awards and it marks the expansion into the personal care.



In 1999: Burt's Bees goes global

In 2003: Lip Shimmers are added to the range , they offer lush colours and natural lip care in one




In 2007: Burt's formulate The Greater Good part Philosophy, part business model




In 2010: The Acne Solutions is launched, a truly natural Acne line

  1. I love Burt's Bees. In the US, it has really established itself as a household brand; everybody has at least one item from Burt's Bees, even if they don't know they have it! Lol. Well, at least that's how it seems anyway. :-)

  2. I love them as well, I didn't know about the acne line! I will try it as I have a case of adult acne. :( I try using all natural products when I can. Neutogena has a new line of all natural products that are pretty good.
