Festival del Film Locarno Moët & Chandon Excellence Award to Juliette Binoche

Friday night was yet another great night for the Festival del Film Locarno, Moët & Chandon awarded French actress Juliette Binoche with an Excellence Award for her brilliant career.
In front of more of 8000 people in the Piazza Grande Ms. Nadine Fau, Managing Director of Moët Hennessy Suisse  and Carlo Chatrian, Artistic Director of the Festival handed out the prize to an emotional Juliette Binoche.

The night went on with the film Clouds of Sils Maria with Juliette Binoche, Kristen Stewart and Chloë Grace Moretz directed by Olivier Assayas.
Maria Enders ( Juliette Binoche) is a successful actress and has a loyal personal assistant called Valentine (Kristen Steward) but her world goes upside down when a much younger actress (C.G. Moretz) is called to interpret a role in a new movie, the exact same role which made Enders famous.
Haunted by ghosts from the past she withdraws herself along with her assistant to the remote Swiss village of Sils Maria.

Nevertheless I had another amazing night in Piazza Grande at the Locarno Film Festival and I enjoyed every minute of it! From walking through the red carpet, to watch the film in this amazing Piazza! To see Juliette Binoche on stage was a real treat as she is a true icon.
After the movie we headed to the Moët & Chandon Party in Ascona. You will find all about it on a separate post!
