My sweet valentine: L'Occitane and Pierre Hermé have joined forces to create a delicious limited edition

Connected by their creativity and passion for natural ingredients, L’OCCITANE founder Oliver Baussan and French pâtissier and king of Macaroons Pierre Hermé – well known for his inventive flavour combinations, have joined forces to create two new limited edition fragrances.

Featuring original and unique combinations that evoke memories of the lands of the Mediterranean and Corsica, the island of beauty, these new collections will captivate and enchant you during the festive Season.

I had chance to discover these limited editions a couple of months ago at the L'Occitane Press event and I have fallen in love with them..I honestly couldn't wait them to hit the stores as I had already planned to buy them as gifts to my family and friends and of course also some for me..

First of all they look great, so festive and cheerful and then let me tell you about the scents..gorgeous! If you are a fan like me of L'Occitane products you know that their products always have wonderful scents, well with these Limited Edition with Pierre Hermé they have really excelled themselves.

As I have already mentioned as soon as they were released I bought some for family and friends as presents, this is if I can part with them as I truly love them..my personal favourite?

The Jasmine Immortelle Neroli Body Lotion, so light in texture it leaves my skin silky soft, with a lovely scent of Immortelle from Corsica, the Grapefruit Rhubarb Edt so tangy and fresh it is the perfect scent for the Holidays and the Honey and Mandarine Hand Cream which not only nourish my hands but also leaves a sparkling scent that blends mandarin with honey from Corsica.

Floral and absolutely feminine, the fragrance of pastry chef Pierre Hermé balances the white notes of gardens at dawn with the gold of a flower that still flourishes throughout the Corsican maquis.

The exhilarating heart of this bouquet blends the floral note of Jasmine and the softness of Orange Blossom with the wild, honeyed and aromatic scents of an armful of Immortelle from Corsica. This is a fragrance that captures the scent of Corsica swept up in woody and musky notes.

Floral and feminine, this fragrance balances the white notes of gardens at dawn with the gold of a flower that still flourishes throughout the Corsican maquis.
Sparkling head notes bring an unexpected sensation. In one deep breath, lemon and petit grain tantalise the palate as they come into contact with pink pepper and offer up a breeze of fresh air.

Shower Gel

This shower gel gently cleanses the skin and leaves it delicately perfumed with a luminous, captivating scent that blends white flowers with Immortelle from Corsica.

Body Lotion

With its light, non-sticky texture, this silky body lotion moisturises the skin and leaves it delicately perfumed with a luminous, captivating scent that blends white flowers with Corsican immortelle.

Grapefruit and Rhubarbe

Pierre Hermé placed the Grapefruit at the heart of the creation as he wanted to celebrate all its facets.

And that includes the slightly bitter, white inner skin – its character underlined by the green and crisp aromas of Rhubarb. This beautifully balanced note is soon ruffled at its heart by sensual, piquant spices. In this original composition, woody notes of Cedar conjure up the sensation of mischievous Grapefruit cutting through the tartness of Rhubarb stalks.

This beautifully balanced note is soon ruffled at its heart by sensual, piquant spices. In this original composition, woody notes of cedar conjure up the sensation of mischievous grapefruit cutting through the tartness of rhubarb stalks.

Shower Gel

A vibrant shower gel harmony full of contrasts, pastry chef Pierre Hermé makes Corsican grapefruit and rhubarb come together. After showering, skin is perfectly clean and perfumed with the notes of this vibrant and subtly spicy fragrance.

Body Lotion

Like the sheerest veil, the feather-light texture of this body lotion moisturises the skin any while leaving delicately perfumed with a vibrant, tangy scent that blends rhubarb with Corsican grapefruit over a base subtly sprinkled with spices.

Miel Mandarin

First the fruity and fresh aromas of mandarin. Then come the honey and sweet sugar and almond notes, which recall the festivities. At the heart of this perfume the Immortelle awakens with a warm touch of beeswax. The balsamic facets of benzoin and almondlike facets of the essence of tonka beans mingle among them to develop a strong honey scent.
