Last weekend I was invited to a great event in Lugano: MODA, ARTE & SAVOIR-FAIRE literally fashion, art and know-how. Organised by the association MAR3 which tries to search and promote creative talents from Ticino is now a platform which tries to bring together art and fashion while promoting Swisss Made!
The event was held at the former "Asilo Ciani" a truly spectacular location which was just perfect to showcase the great talent of the presenting designers. MAC Lugano took care of the makeup of all the models in the show and I have to thank them for my beautiful makeup for the night, too! The models all sported a wonderful and very much on trend exagerate false lashes look which looked great.
The show started with super cute kids bringing the fashion for little ones of Come nelle Favole. We then went to enjoy the shows of women fashion designers such as Indigo, LP4 and Amorphose by Giancarlo Bello. For me the absolute best show of the night! Such a talented designer based in Lugano, its pieces are always characterized by fine cuts and elegant and unexpected details. The designer is renowned for its particular use of zippers. The shows were then followed by a delicious aperitivo and then it was time for the designers to bring their ateliers to the public and sell their pieces of work directly there. A truly delightful night in Lugano which was a pleasure to attend!
At the show was also great to finally have met in person fashion editor Valentino Odorico which was sitting next to me at the show, such an inspiring person!
