Waiting for Locarno Film Festival..

In less than a week Piazza Grande and Locarno will host the 69th edition of Locarno Film Festival. In the meantime there is a hefty programme while we wait for the opening night of the festival on August 3rd, 2016.
The pre-festival activities include two screenings on the Piazza Grande, concerts and various DJ-sets at the Rotonda. These are free events scheduled from July 31 to August 2nd.
At the Piazza Grande there will be a tribute to Bud Spencer scheduled for Sunday, July 31st with the screening of the movie "Lo chiamavano trinità" and on Tuesday, August 2nd 2016 it will be time for the world premiere of the biggest Swiss television production of all time: Gotthard by Urs Egger .
The meeting point and village of the festival "Rotonda" will open on July 31st and on August, 1st for Swiss National Day it will host the  #Swissparty with  DJ Antoine international star of the House music which will make everyone dance at the Rotonda. On August 2nd for the special evening dedicated to "Gottardo 2016 " there will be live concerts in collaboration with Rete Tre also with Sebalter.
