MAC Limited Edition Helmut Newton Collection

It comes as no surprise that another stunning collection has landed at MAC. This collection pays hommage to iconic photographer Helmut Newton. Newton who has been famous since the '50's for his black & white photos of very glamourous ladies in glossy magazine such as Vogue and Vanity Fair.
The collection certainly has the provocative vibe to match the work of the legendary photographer with smoky eyeshadows and glamourous red lipsticks it is very feminine and sensual. The packaging itself are a piece of art showing some of Newton's black and white photos. I am already treasuring them and hung them on my wall.
Let's create a glamourous old Hollywood look thanks to the Point 'n' Shoot palette which features four matte shades just perfect to create killer smokey eyes. The texture is really soft and creamy and the colours are wonderfully neutral which makes them very wearable and for me already a classic. You can't go wrong with this palette, I love to mix and match the shades and create a soultry smoky eyes look.
and be a true bombshell with red lips using the Retro Matte Lip Colours. I just love Retro Matte Lip Colour, they are a no-brainer, they give you a wonderful matte look they are super pigmented and so easy to use. And the colours? Available in High Heels (red) , Self Portrait ( dark plum) and Chateau M. ( deep red wine) all colours won't let you go unnoticed and are über glam! And to finish off the look glossy nails with the Nail Lacquer in Berlin or Monte Carlo two cities where Newton used to live.

  1. I don't get why the eyeshadow quad looks SO much like the Brant Brothers quad... especially since that collection was only just released.
