Winter in South Tyrol is full of highlights

Winter in South Tyrol means an highlight after another. There is also sport on the agenda with skiing and snowboarding. In addition, the international sports elite is holding off in various locations in South Tyrol for  the exciting races during the "Alpine Skiing Cup". Cabaret events with music, "Beef & Snow" or the romantic night race "Moonlight Classic"  will keep you entertained during your stay in South Tyrol.

Ski Alpin Europa Cup

20th to 25th February in Sarntal / South Tyrol's: Ski Alpin Europa Cup (Ladies and Men's)


Beef & Snow in Carezza and Obereggen / Eggental

3rd to 19th February 2017
Not for vegetarians and vegans, but for lovers of regional meat from the Eggental and creative dishes of the chefs of the many gourmet huts. Along the slopes where cattle graze in the summer.


Moonlight Classic on the Seiser Alm

On February 10th , 2017, at 8 pm

The largest high alpine pasture in Europe has a very special fascination by day, however when night comes she becomes very romantic or even very athletic, such as during the annual cross-country ski race in classic style. You can choose between two routes (30 and 15 km).


Ski touring in Ortisei / Val Gardena

On 11th of March from 6.30 pm
The Pilat-piste which goes from Ortisei to Mont Sëuc and the Alpe di Siusi in Ladin has no longer existed for many years, but a path has been preserved and is often used by ski tourers. Provided with headlamp and trying to go as fast as possible Provided with headlamp the participants of the Moonlight ski tour go up 800 metres.
