This summer Roger & Gallet has asked the master of floral art Thierry Boutemy to create five floral compositions and some limited edition gifts with the summer fragrances as inspirations with the theme of a summer walk through a flowered garden.
Thierry Boutemy is surely a fan of Roger & Gallet as when he was 10 years old his cousin gave him a round Roger & Gallet soap bar as a gift. He didn't use it as he thought it was too precious but he used to go and inhale the wonderful fragrance of the soap. For this reason Roger & Gallet always evokes him this wonderful childood memories of the flowers of Normandy.
This summer Thierry Boutemy has created floral compositions for the Roger & Gallet Eau Parfumées such as Fleur de Figuier, Rose, Gingembre Rouge, Fleur d'Osmanthus and the brand new limited edition Ylang.
Thierry Boutemy created a floral composition also for the brand new limited edition Eau Fraîche Parfumée Ylang.
Ylang is a fragrance that takes us to a journey to the Caribbean. The sensuality of Ylang paired with Moorea flowers notes gives our body the sensation of the warm sun and sand making us feeling relaxed and happy.
Perfumer Dorothée Piot has created the Eau Fraîche Parfumée Ylang with floral white notes and sparkling citrus revealing the distilled essence of ylang and cedar all warmed by musk and vanilla for a fragrance that is joyful, refreshing and perfect for Summer!
The fragrance is already one of my summer must-haves! It is a light, flowery and fruity fragrance great for warm days. As a fan of the Roger & Gallet Eau Fraîches I can really say I have a new favourite!
Thierry Boutemy has also created a summer hit bag with an explosion of flowers and colours which adorn also the travel sets which you can get as a gift when you buy any of the Eau Parfumée.
