ESPRIT Good Collection:feel good, look good, do good

Reminiscent to the cult brand’s original attitude, Esprit launches this September an innovative capsule collection for both women and men.
This special edition, featuring amongst other things classics like the denim jacket, pencil skirt with straps or oversized sweatshirt with oldschool logo, is not only a stylish tribute to the brand’s beginnings but also to its basic manifesto. Awareness for mankind and the environment were important long before terms like ‘sustainability’ or ‘social conscience’ were even coined. Consequently, the large part of the collection consists styles either made of organic cotton or recycled materials (e.g. cellulose or PET).
A result of its history and due to its accountability as a globally leading fashion brand, Esprit sees one of its most important tasks in taking responsibility for the environment.
This is the message expressed in this collection, while – due to this or nevertheless – its fashion statement is full of joy, spontaneity and easiness.
All of this in the sense of the founders, Susie Bell and Doug Tompkins, who started Esprit in 1968 in California – as for them, children of the hippie- and peace-movement, the compliance with social and environmental aspects was nothing special but a self-evident fact, too.
