Summer cocktails at Les Voiles with Vodka CÎROC mixed by Katalin Bene

Nothing quite beats sipping a cocktail on a hot Summer day. And what if these cocktails were coconut, pineapple and other tropical fruit-flavored? The recently crowned from the DIAGEO RESERVE WORLD CLASS, Katalin Bene, presented yesterday at "Les Voiles" in Cologny (Genève-Plage), the latest creations for the summer with a base of CÎROC vodka from Diageo.

Sun a lounge atmosphere and refreshing drinks: these were the ingredients of a fab summer evening. As part of the World Class Bar yesterday, on the shore of Lake Geneva the invited guests enjoyed exclusive cocktails mixed by Katalin Bene. In addition to refreshing creations made with CÎROC vodka, the best barmaid in Switzerland also presented the limited editions CÎROC SUMMER COLADA and CÎROC COCONUT.

MOON & STARS Festival is back with yet again an impressive line-up!

From July 13rd until July 21st 2018 Locarno will host once again the MOON & STARS Festival for its 15th edition.

The most beautiful festival in Switzerland hosted in the charming and unique setting of the Piazza Grande has in store for us yet again an impressive line-up. There is really something to please everyone this year from Swiss artists to International stars and well-know Italian artists the line-up is surely spectacular! The festival will kick-off with Italian award-winning musicians NEK, Francesco Renga and Max Pezzali who are coming together to perform all their famous hits. On July 14th Zurich-based musician BLIGG will be on stage followed by cult German band DIE FANTASTISCHEN VIER. The four rappers will be presenting their new record Captain Fantastisch at the MOON & STARS. On Sunday, July 15th is British night with the Irish band THE SCRIPT opening the stage for British star JAMES BLUNT. The singer and songwriter has sold over 20 million albums and will perform some of his greatest hits and songs from his new album The Afterlove. Monday, July 16th is going to be a Swiss night as HECHT, BASCHI and three time Swiss Music Awards winners PEGASUS will take the stage in Locarno. Tuesday, July 17th is  ladies night with British singers RITA ORA and EMELI SANDE who are ready to enchant the Piazza Grande with their amazing voices. On Wednesday, July 18th Sarah Connor will take the stage followed by British sensation JAMES ARTHUR. Following his X-Factor winning back in 2012 James has become a true superstar winning golds and platinums in many countries. German duo MILKY CHANCE will be performing on July 19th and set the ball rolling for Hawaiian singer and songwriter JACK JOHNSON. Adel Tawil will enchant Locarno with his music on July, 20th followed by Finnish band SUNRISE AVENUE. Last but not least be ready for a rock night on Saturday, July 21st as Italian queen of rock GIANNA NANNINI will perform on the night along with cult band THE SCORPIONS.

#LOCARNOEXPERIENCE the events around the Festival

Once again the events around the Locarno Festival are back with La Rotonda, the village of the Festival, and the Locarno Garden la Mobiliare, the festival garden surely an experience that will enrich the festival nights from 27th July to 12th of August.


La Rotonda, the village of the Festival

From 27th July, la Rotonda will inaugurate the #LocarnoExperience with a program of 17 evenings of music, entertainment, ethnic cuisine, theme bars, open markets and, this year's novelty, a whole Food Truck area, modern and captivating , which offers dishes made with local products from the Ticino area.
Music and entertainment by RSI Rete Tre inside the Grand Hotel Swisscom has in store a rich program of live concerts and DJ sets. Emerging artists and nationally and internationally established bands will alternate themselves on the scene. Among the guests are the very young Drunky Funk, defending champions of Palco at the young and the Sardinians Train To Roots; space also to rockabilly with Midnight Lovers. This year there will also be four evenings made special by the marriage between concerts / DJ sets and some programs loved by the listeners of RSI Rete Tre. One of the flagships program of this edition are the Caliber 35 with their sound inspired by the soundtracks of many crime movies typical of Italy in the seventies.

LaRotonda will close with a mysterious Special Guest who will animate the Closing Party organized by RSI Rete Tre. The musical entertainment will end at 01.00 A.M on weekdays and at  at 02.00 A.M. weekends while the closure of laRotonda is scheduled at 03.00 every night.
To give a touch of quality to the Grand Hotel Swisscom there will be not only live concerts, but also refined lounges. In addition, thanks to its silent "Silent Party" disco, the fun will be guaranteed until the early hours.
To complete the offer of laRotonda, the Virtual Reality Corner, where you can experience the latest virtual reality film productions, a program curated by the Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF). Every day, from 7 to 9 pm, it will also be possible to watch live the activities of La Rotonda thanks to the PardOn radio broadcast of Rete Tre.

Locarno Garden la Mobiliare, the garden of the Festival

On July 28th, the Mobiliar Locarno Garden will take off at the former Parco Balli, in the heart of the Old Town. At the center of the Festival garden there will be the What-if-Pavilion of the Mobiliar pavilion, created by Swiss artist Kerim Seiler, symbol of inspiration and creativity. In this particular setting, the musical animation curated and renewed by the Turba Association of Lugano, will offer an intimate and refined program. Every evening there will be musicians and Djs, who will perform more than twenty minutes, instrumental and acoustic, all in close proximity to the public to offer a unique experience. The line-up includes talents from Ticino and some well-known Swiss and Italian artists such as Marco Selvaggio, Kety Fusco, Zeno Gabaglio, Ivan Bert and Enrico Degani. Among the DJs we find: Batiment, Tom Alemanno, Rosanna Grüter and Yeleen. The offer will be completed by an interesting selection of culinary proposals linked to the territory.
