Individuality is the art of understanding that each piece of vineyard, as wine, is in itself a unique ingredient for Krug champagnes. Each year, the House celebrates its know-how by inviting Krug Ambassador Chefs to interpret a single ingredient, by developing unexpected recipes to pair with a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée or Krug Rosé. As part of this year's "Single Ingredient" program, which runs until the end of 2021, the choice fell on a very traditional vegetable - the onion.


 



“I Gotta Peelin '” tells the story of 11 Krug Ambassador Chefs from 9 different countries, including Heiko Nieder, 2 Michelin stars and 19 Gault & Millau points, Julie Cavil, Cellar Master at Krug, and Éric Lebel , former Cellar Master at Krug and Deputy Director of the House, and their fascinating culinary journey to Jaipur, the legendary Pink City, to discover the origins of onions and their experiences of pairing food and wine based on the ingredient chosen for this year.

A multifaceted association - Layers of wonder

Coming from Tokyo, Chicago, Mumbai or even London, these 11 talented chefs joined Julie Cavil and Éric Lebel, the two masters of the Krug tradition, for a journey into the gastronomic heart of India, giving free rein to their imagination and creating unique onion-inspired recipes to pair with a glass of Krug.

The onion, the first cultivated vegetable in the world, is said to originate from the Asian continent, hence the idea of choosing India as the destination for our chefs. During this three-day trip, they discovered the connection between the people of Rajasthan and the onion, new recipes and surprising agricultural techniques, while forging friendships between chefs and also with their hosts.






After the simple potato, the humble egg, the whimsical mushroom, the multifaceted fish and the mouth-watering pepper, Maison Krug continues in 2021 its search for unexpected culinary pairings.

Onions are a key ingredient in almost every basic recipe, in broths, sauces, stews and roasts. Its multiple expressions perfectly complement the fullness of flavors and aromas of the Grande Cuvée Krug and the elegance and daring of Krug Rosé.

Inspired by their onion experience in Jaipur, and strong in their vision, their passion, and their know-how, the Chefs have created a set of creative recipes to pair with a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée or Krug Rosé .

Maison Ruinart is proud to present its latest project with the famous Grand Resort Bad Ragaz: The LeftLovers pop-up restaurant in Switzerland

What to do with carrot tops or potato peels? This is the question that Maison Ruinart and the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz wanted to answer with their latest project entitled LeftLovers. The new pop-up restaurant, which will be open until the end of October in the Kurpark of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, takes what are supposed to leftovers of the kitchen of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz and turns them into new, creative dishes. and delicious.

The LeftLovers restaurant shows its customers how kitchen waste can be used in so many ways in everyday life and how to give them a second chance by creating a unique dish. The LeftLovers concept was born out of a group of young students from EHL, the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, who wanted to encourage people to adopt an environmentally friendly diet and to broaden their horizons for a fashionable lifestyle and responsible living.
 
As part of this project, the Ruinart Champagne House has also teamed up with Pablo Genoux, a young artist from Bern, to create the unique design of the pop-up. The result is an attractive concept, where customers can enjoy Ruinart champagne, food and drink, but also give an orchid a second life. Under the slogan "Adopt a plant", instead of composting, the wilted orchids of the decorations of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz were collected and donated, in order to bloom again and flourish in a new place.

The pop-up restaurant is open from May 15 to the end of October 2021 in the Kurpark of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. Guests are invited to savor small dishes around an open glass of Ruinart champagne on the comfortably furnished terrace. The sparkling Ruinart Rosé will be served by the glass for CHF 21 and the Ruinart Brut for CHF 18.

Also this year Levi's® would like to encourage more empathy and inclusion with an inspiring new Pride collection.

The collection celebrates the LGBTQIA community, emphasizing the importance of using different pronouns correctly and respectfully. The "All Pronouns, All Love" collection focuses on stories about great love, mutual understanding and contagious optimism.

The most prominent styles of the new Levi's® Pride collection include the Liberation Trucker Jacket, a light denim jacket with extra wash, rainbow pattern on the back and the imprint "they / them, she / her, hi / him, we" as well as the Liberation Shortall and Liberation Jumpsuit. There are also other pieces with a rainbow print, including shirts, a sports bra and accessories.

 A far cry from the full coverage formulas the Huda Beauty brand is famous for, this new launch promises natural sheer coverage for glowing skin all day long.

With the launch of Wishful in 2020, Huda has learned to love her skin, not hide it. In order to show and share this newfound confidence, Huda has focused on developing products that bring out the natural beauty of the skin, not hide it.




This is how the Glowish by Huda Beauty collection was born: a range of vegan friendly products (without ingredients of animal origin), made with ingredients of natural origin and packaged with recycled materials.
