Hublot presents the Big Bang Meca-10 designed by Nicky Jam

Hublot just unveiled in Miami the "Big Bang Meca-10 Nicky Jam", a model available in three versions designed in collaboration with urban music singer and icon Nicky Jam, star of Hublot's charts and brand ambassadors.

"Hublot loves art! These words have a double meaning today when we celebrate the music of our ambassador Nicky Jam, presenting his new model during a celebration that takes place in Miami, where everything revolves around exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, and street art. Art, festivities, fusion, passion ... here we are really in our element! "
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot

Nicky Jam has been Hublot's ambassador since June. Having enjoyed huge success in 2015 with his title "El Perdon", this summer he brought the whole world to life with "Live it Up", the official hymn of the 2018TM FIFA World Cup ™ in Russia, where Hublot was the official timepiece. And as if that was not enough he casually cracked all records. His single "X (Equis)" has been viewed on YouTube almost 1.4 billion times!
Hublot celebrated Nicky Jam's talent in front of a selected audience - VIPs, stars, and friends of the brand - at a crazy party in The Temple House, Miami. To mark the occasion, the well-known address in the heart of South Beach turned into an oasis of light: both the façade and the interior walls served as a projection screen for a mapping animation with artistic films and photos.
In this festive setting, Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of the brand, thanked Nicky for becoming part of the Hublot family, and presented in a preliminary premiere the result of this collaboration: the watches Big Bang Meca-10 Nicky Jam.
It comes in three different versions, all based on the famous Big Bang, the hallmark of the Swiss watchmaker. It has a diameter of 45 mm and is powered by the manufacture caliber HUB1201, whose innovative construction on the dial reveals the entire refined power reserve of ten days, which has given the model its name: Meca-10! As Nicky Jam sings in one of his songs: "... sin parar, sin parar!" For the first time, the dial here is skeletonized and gold plated, giving the whole piece a whole new look. The art of fusion in all its glory!
