The partnership that began in 2016 between the famous men's fashion house and the pioneering watch brand reveals a new take on the Big Bang Unico. Together they fused fashion and watchmaking, leather and titanium, substance and form.
The new Big Bang Unico Berluti Aluminio makes use of this common know-how and impresses with its simple, elegant, monochrome and timeless appearance. A big bang for the collector with a sense of aesthetics. As with every collaboration between Hublot and Berluti, this edition is limited to 100 copies.
The characteristic, patinated Venezia leather forms the heart of the polished titanium bezel and the dial, where the indices and the “Swiss Made” lettering are embossed directly onto the leather. The leather is stretched between two sapphire glasses, the section of which reveals the Unico movement - a technical masterpiece. In collaboration with Berluti, a technique was developed to encapsulate the natural hues of the leather in order to crystallize them over time. So the beauty is reproduced in an authentic and unchangeable way. The bracelet symbolizes the perfect fusion of the two worlds and is available in two versions: one with the Venezia leather strap with aluminio patina and a second with the Venezia leather strap with aluminio patina and scritto pattern exclusively for Japan.
The Big Bang Unico Berluti Aluminio also shows part of its beating centerpiece. On the dial side, the leather is enclosed between two sapphire glasses, in which a section shows the self-winding Unico movement, an authentic manufacture chronograph with flyback function and three full days of power reserve. The Big Bang Unico Berluti Aluminio is a rare and contemporary piece that comes in a special box with a travel case and a key ring with the Berluti logo.
