As you already know I am a big fan of scented candles and my favourite are without a doubt Yankee Candles! I personally love them all year around but I must say in Winter and especially during the Holiday it is when I enjoy them the most.

I love the Holiday collection..like Winter Glow, Berry Trifle or Cozy by the Fire everytime I light them I really get in the Holiday Spirit. Normally I would place them just on the sideboard but during the Holiday Season I love to bring the candles into my decorations. I think they look great as centrepiece. I have put two of my candles in my livingroom Holiday arrangement together with Christmas baubles, pine cones, stars and other ornaments.

They really create a cozy and warm atmosphere at night time as well as filling the house with wonderful scent!

MAC opens its first free standing store in Zurich

After a long wait for Swiss MAC fans, finally now the time has come!

The first free standing store in Zurich has opened its doors yesterday in Rämistrasse 2 - right on Bellevue.

 With this new MAC free standing store in the heart of Zurich after in Lucerne railway station  MAC has now two attractive shops at prominent locations in Switzerland.

Thanks to its 360 ​​degree orientation, the distinctive retail concept and the competent make up artists customers will be able to enjoy an ultimate MAC experience at the new Zurich store.

All make-up services are offered, including short-makeups (10-15 minutes), Make up applications, lessons and makeup for special occasions.

Originality and creativity are clearly a import in approximately 46m2 big Store. The Make up

Artists benefit from three stations with professional makeup light conditions, one of them with a lot of privacy in the back of the store.

The first free standing store in Zurich is open from Monday to Saturday from 09.00 to 19.00 clock.

It will not only strengthen the MAC trend and makeup skills, but it will also encourage unique relationship between the brand and make-up artists, trendsetters and MAC fans.

Holiday time means movie time!!!

The nights are getting colder and darker, and with the Holidays coming up there is not many things that I enjoy more than just chilling on the sofa sipping an hot chocolate and watching movies. Christmas it is really the best time to do it, and movies also make for great gifts!
I have picked here for you two movies ideas for a great night cozying up by the fire. They couldn't be more  different as one your typical Christmas movie comedy and the other it is an action packed movie. Just because if you like me you enjoy Christmas movies, and you start watching them every year starting from December the 1st you might feel like watching something different got to Christmas..and I also think your other half will appreciate the choice.


A Merry Friggin' Christmas ( Furchtbar Fröhliche Weinhachten)

Directed by Tristam Shapeero and written by Phil Johnston A Merry Friggin' Christmas is a Yuletide comedy which sees Boyd Mitchler (Joel McHale) and his wife Luann (Lauren Graham) who are forced to spend dreaded Holidays with Boyd's eccentric father Mitch ( Robin Williams) and his family of misfit which he has been avoiding for years. At the end of the day Christmas time is family time and we can not choose family.
After realizing he has left all of his son's gifts at home,  the only solution to get the presents in time under the tree is an 8-hour drive back home and back.
Boyd gets on the road with his dad in a blizzard to attempt to make the 8-hour round journey before sunrise.

LUCY

Directed by Luc Besson and starring Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman and Amr Waked the movie released in 2014 became a box office success. Shot between Taipei, Paris and New York City the movie sees Lucy ( Scarlett Johansson) gaining psychokinetic abilitites through a nootropic drug absorbed through her bloodstream. Accidentally caught in the middle of a dark deal, Lucy turns the table on her captors and transforms herself into a warrior evolved beyond human logic.

Walking in a winter wonderland..

The Holiday Season is well and truly on the way and I really hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed some well deserved rest and time with the family

Here the snow made its first appearance and I really enjoyed some time off with my hubby in the snow.

I am sure you got some great deals on Black Friday or Cyber Monday and I hope my Michael Kors Holiday's must-haves guide has been helpful.

I certainly got myself ahead, I found a great deal on a Michael Kors bag I had been eyeing for a while and I am currently waiting for it to arrive. Can't wait for it to be delivered and to tell you all about it! I can only tell you that it will bring much glow to my Holidays outfits..

In the meantime my new watch and jewelry in rose gold have arrived, and I love them!

Now, I am all set for the Holidays with my new Michael Kors Madelyn watch and matching rose gold bracelets.

Madelyin with its pavé silver and rose gold really showcases luxury details and craftmanship it is a true star piece which will make me shine through the party season. 

And what better background to show it off then a winter wonderland?
