H&M World Recycle Week April 18 - April 24

H&M is teaming up with artist and singer M.I.A for H&M's latest global initiative World Recycle Week with an ambitious global Garment Collecting activity and a new music video.
H&M is hoping to collect 1000 tonnes of unwanted or worn out garments from customers worldwide in  more than 3600 of its stores.
The initiative is part of H&M's goal to close the loop in fashion, recycling unwanted clothes to create recycled textile fibres for new products.
M.I.A to raise awareness has filmed an exclusive music video for H&M, which highlights the environmental impact of clothes going to landfills around the world.
The video will debut on April 11th at hm.com.

Garment collectin at H&M is simple and can have an important effect. Since 2013 customers have been invited to bring any unwanted clothes from any brand and in any conditiom to any H&M store. By doing so they ensure less garments to go to landfills.
To mark the first World Recycle Week from 18th to 24th of April 2016 H&M aims to collect more textiles than ever before through its on-going Garment Collecting initiative.
