This year, too, Søstrene Grene focused on the UN's International Girls' Day on October 11th. A day designed to raise awareness of the problems girls around the world face because of their gender. In this context, Søstrene Grene is launching two new carrier bags and a new coloring book in a similar design. For every tote bag and coloring book sold, CHF 0.72 and CHF 0.58, respectively, will be donated to the important work of Plan International.
Søstrene Grene has had a partnership with Plan International since 2018. The collaboration focuses specifically on helping girls and young women out of poverty. The goal is that more girls and young women in East Africa receive an education and thereby have the opportunity to create a better and safer life for themselves and their families. As part of the collaboration, Søstrene Grene regularly introduces products with Plan International, with part of the award being donated to a good cause.
