Nokia Lumia 1320 : a good choice !

I had chance to test the new Nokia Lumia 1320 and I was very lucky to get one in bright yellow.
Anyway, for those of you who are not keen on yellow the Nokia Lumia 1320 comes also in black, white or red and thanks to its removable back you can switch colours depending on your mood or to match your outfit.
The corners of the phone are rounded, the plastic back and sides have a smooth matt finish which helps with not having friction when you are making a call or just holding on to it.
The Nokia Lumia 1320 is one of those devices that we now call "phablet" which is a word that  combines phone and tablet. For this reason the device as you can notice straight away is quite large , it has a 6 inch LCD -screen that makes ideal for watching videos or playing games. The screen is also pretty quick that makes wizzing around the Windows-phone interface a pleasure!
The Nokia Lumia 1320 also gives you control over colour temperature and saturation of the screen.
The Gorilla Glass certainly helps in keeping your screen intact as sometimes I have the phone in my bag with my keys and I have not a single mark on the screen.
The large screen also gives you the advantage to have three rows of apps stacked  on the main screen which is very practical to me so you have everything available easily.
It is a solid-feeling device that will certainly make you stand out from the crowd!
In the weeks of testing it, I was asked and complimented many times about my yellow Nokia Lumia  1320.
The Nokia Lumia 1320 offers the latest Windows Phone 8, 8G internal storage and a 5 mega pixels camera.
The web browser , Internet Explorer 10 has all the features you would expect in a mobile web browser with tabs, favourites and built -in websharing. Downloading apps on the go was quick and easy!
Making calls with the Nokia Lumia 1320 was really easy , as the big bold icon on the home screen is easily recognizable and you just tap it and you can make your call by hitting one of your recent calls, bring up the keyboard or call a contact.
The contact app in the Nokia Lumia 1320 is called People, you just need to sign in with a webmail account and your contacts can be imported  also from facebook and twitter.
This device is also good for messaging and emailing. The mail app places all of your emails from multiple accounts including Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook into one single app.
By default your mail appears in separate folders for each account.
Sending a message is also very simple, just hit the plus symbol at the bottom of the page, the microphone symbols allows you to add a voice message, the paper clip to add a file , or you can even take a photo.
The 5 megapixel camera has a dedicated camera shutter key that acts as a shortcut so I never miss that important shot!
Framing and focusing is simple and the detail level is good.
You can also download the free Nokia Lenses suite which offers a variety of special effects to help you make your pics beautiful!
I certainly had lots of fun playing around with the camera!
Nokia's Here Maps are also already included in the phone which I personally think is a big plus, as the Nokia Lumia 1320 even offline didn't loose the signal and kept giving me directions.
One thing I was also impressed with the Nokia Lumia 1320 was the battery life , it really shines! I was able to get two full days of general use without having to charge it! I am always on the go so I don't always have the charger with me so this is definitely a big advantage for me!
The phone connects and charges via micro-usb , has a 3.5 mm audio connector for headphones and offers the possibility to extend its internal storage through an SD card.
The Nokia Lumia 1320 offers a lot of value for money, the bright bold colours, the big screen, great battery life , the fun you can have with the camera app make the Nokia Lumia 1320 a good choice !
