LA PRAIRIE first ever hotel shopping experience

I had the great honour to be invited for the opening of the World's first La Prairie  hotel boutique at the Grand Resort in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland on the 10th of  June 2014.
The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is nestled in the beautiful mountains of the Heidiland holiday region in Eastern Switzerland, approximately one hour's drive away from Zurich.
The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz it is renowned as Europe's leading well-being and health resort and was rated by the famous Condé Nast Traveller (UK) Spa Guide 2013.
I was lucky enough to be able to spend the night there and can confirm that the hotel is absolutely stunning! Beautifully decorated throughout and located in a stunning setting.
So it doesn't come as a surprise that La Prairie has chosen the Grand Resort for the opening of its first hotel boutique. The new La Prairie universe allows guests to pamper themselves with La Prairie Spa treatments, which are available at the hotel's own 36,5° Wellbeing and Thermal Spa as well as immerging themselves in the entire La Prairie product range.
Located in the Spa foyer, the boutique showcases all the La Prairie collection and specialist beauty consultants now provide guests with customised advised. The boutique is open daily from 8am to 7pm.

"We are extremely proud to have opened our first ever La Prairie boutique in a hotel in Switzerland, birth place of La Prairie" explains Werner Dirks, GM of La Prairie Switzerland.
"We have been working together with the Grand Resort successfully since 2000. The new La Prairie beauty world in the hotel caters to all their guests' desires. It provides an even greater level of personal service and allows customers to immerse themselves in the La Prairie universe whilst travelling".

A ceremony with traditional ribbon-cutting took place on 10th June 2014. "The way in which the La Prairie boutique complements the well-being and beauty facilities of our spa is exceptional and underlines the emphasis that the Grand Resort, Bad Ragaz places on indivituality, fine detail, quality and authenticity, on all levels" explains Peter P. Tschirky CEO of Grand Resort, Bad Ragaz.

While my time at the Grand Resort I had the pleasure to experience one of the La Prairie treatment and more precisely the Swiss Ice Crystal treatment. Stress and life's daily environmental assaults can damage your skin, precious quartz crystals and the pure alpine ingredients of Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal fortify skin's resilience and restore skin's youthful strenght and appearance: your skin feels relaxed and bursting with vital energy.
The Swiss Ice Crystal cream and oil were used in the treatment, The Swiss Ice Crystal cream feels rich but immediately penetrates and turns skin to silk as it revitalizes the complexion and works to fortify the skin's resilience to life's increasing aging assaults. The Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil, is a hydrating, nurturing dry oil that becomes one with your skin upon application.
It contains a precious blend of pure oils and age-delaying extracts. The oil strengthens and fortifies skin to prevent moisture loss.
For total indulgence, the treatment includes a hand and leg message, 90 min of bliss!
