The fragrance was launched with an exclusive event held at the old Senate Palace in Milan during the last Fashion Week and the fragrance will be on the market here in Switzerland from February 2015.
The composition consisting of a sensual chypre-floral bouquet and with precious woody undertones was created to highlight emotions.
Emozione is enclosed in a beautiful golden bottle with an art deco design which also features the iconic Ferragamo double-Gancino logo on a golden chain.
"Is about laughter and tears and everything that is important in life. When I look at the [campaign] picture I see it, I see that I am touched; I see it in my expression....I don't know why, but there is something more emotional about black and white."
Perfumer Alberto Morillas created the fragrance explaining how it made sense to use note Florentine Iris in the fragrance as it is a fine and luxurious ingredient that well matches the Ferragamo luxury house.
"a tribute to sophisticated women who travel on life’s roller coaster with strength and joy. This is a woman who in her look doesn’t need reassurance: she is assured, self-aware and confident".
Salvatore Ferragamo Emozione EDT will be available in 30 ml, 50 ml and 92 ml from February 2015.
