Feathered dragon heads and intertwined ornaments
define the exclusive "Dragon Nights’ collection from THOMAS SABO. Every design
within the high-end collection, available from October, shows the affinity of the international
jewellery and watch brand with Far Eastern mythology, combined with highest level of
jewellery artistry that THOMAS SABO is known for.
The dragon as a sign of happiness, and the Shou sign of the great blessing as a symbol of
long life which adorns iconic THOMAS SABO designs, are highly symbolic key pieces within
the range. They make Far Eastern mythology tangible in modern context, combining it with
the spirit of freedom and nonchalance of the 1970s. Every design of the handcrafted
collection of around 70 items made of 925 Sterling silver, partly with 18k rose-gold plating,
provides a special significance thanks to the colour intensity of the artistic stone embellishment and the enamel inlay work, which has been beautifully added to each piece
using traditional techniques.
“In our Dragon Nights collection, the frisson between the historical symbols of Asia and the
very urban, contemporary implementation of modern design, erupts into a glamour that
celebrates the current revival of culture celebrating jewellery“, says THOMAS SABO Creative
Director Susanne Kölbli about the collection.
The Dragon Nights collection is available globally from 1st October 2017 at THOMAS SABO boutiques, shop-in-shops and online on www.thomassabo.com
