TAG HEUER workshop with American Street Artist Alec Monopoly

The other week I had the great oppurtunity to be invited by TAG HEUER at their manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds for a workshop with American Street artist Alec Monopoly. The artist from New York sprayed the walls of the TAG Heuer manufacture. Alec Monopoly with his face always hidden behind a bandana to preserve his anonymity owes his fame to the character who shares his name: Mr. Monopoly. In 2008 he left the Big Apple for L.A. the year that the financial markets crashed and this found its echo in Alec's work. This way his career really took off. People started to call him Alec Monopoly, he has depicted the little banker in every imaginable situation.
Alec Monopoly has become "Art Provocateur" for TAG Heuer and he has started to invest in every artistic stages of the company by adding his contagious boldness.
In La Chaux-de-Fonds Alec painted the manufacture's buildings with his signature grafiti. We were all made to wear TAG Heuer protective jackets and given the chance to initiate the grafiti.
A fun moment and a truly unforgettable one to meet such a great artist!
