The numbers of Locarno70

 The extraordinary general meeting of the 70th edition of the Locarno Festival, chaired by President Marco Solari ended with a positive balance.
The Artistic Direction, the Operations Department and the President expressed their full satisfaction with the strong artistic programme , increased public awareness and an important presence in national and international media. A great deal of satisfaction was also expressed by deputy major Paolo Caroni, who said that thanks to the new facilities, GranRex and PalaCinema, the city wants to consolidate the event beyond the eleven days of the Festival.
Great satisfaction expressed also by Aldo Merlini, President of the Tourism Organization of Lake Maggiore and Valleys (OTLMV), and Aldo Rampazzi, Chairman of the Tourist Board of Ticino (ATT), who underlined the importance of the event for the Tourism sector, which this year has seen the sold out at the hotel's in the region.

Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew is now available at selected Starbucks Coffehouses

Finally the time has come! Starbucks launches the brand-new refreshing Nitro Cold Brew in Switzerland. Nitro Cold Brew is available at selected Starbucks Coffeehouses and surely the new beverage will conquer the hearts of Swiss coffee fans by storm.
But what is nitro at all? The coffee is a mixture of selected coffee beans from Latin America and Africa specially prepared for the cold brewing method, carefully grounded by the baristas and prepared by a unique braum method without the use of heat. The coffee draws gently and slowly in cold water for more than 20 hours. It is then treated with nitrogen, which frees the natural sweetness of the cold brew coffee and gives it a velvety-soft texture.

Locarno Festival opened its doors on 2nd of August 2017. Moët & Chandon celebrated this opening with an exclusive opening party at the Villa San Quirico which I had the privilege to attend.
Guests toasted to the 70th edition of the Festival and Moët & Chandon’s partnership in the majestic gardens of the Villa San Quirico with Champagne on Ice: Moët Ice and Moët Ice Rosé.
Moët & Chandon has celebrated  glamorous and alluring moments of international cinema for nine years as an official sponsor of the Festival. This strong and long-time partnership has allowed guests to celebrate many memorable moments and exceptional films. Therefore, Moët Ices were the best summer toast to the beautiful moments of cinema.
