While Zurich shines brightly, a very special Advent market invites you to friendly and sparkling encounters, as well as artistic performances with Carlos Leal, Lea Lu, Kristina Bazan and a surprise guest.
"Let’s shine together" is the motto of a very special multi-day event in the heart of the city on the banks of the Limmat, with lots of glamour, glitter and style! From December 2 to 11, 2021, Moët & Chandon will transform the terrace of Tao's in Zurich into a Christmas wonderland and will accompany in music the most magical moment of the year with artists such as Carlos Leal, Lea Lu, Kristina Bazan and a surprise guest.
Christmas is the perfect time to toast and make wishes with friends and family, and a glass of Champagne has always been the perfect time to share this moment of joy and confidence in the future. Since 2009, Moët & Chandon has associated these moments of happiness with donations to local charities as part of "Toast for a Cause". This year, the House is also presenting its "Moët & Chandon Effervescence" program, which combines a charitable objective with a festive moment. All around the globe, festive moments under the sign of Moët & Chandon make it possible to celebrate the importance of conviviality at the end of the year.
In Switzerland, the "Effervescence" program comes to life as part of an Advent market. Festively decorated chalets light up with golden glitter and compete in sparkle with the Christmas lights of the city of Zurich. The mulled wine and sausages give way to champagne and all kinds of culinary delights, for a moment of conviviality under the sign of elegance.
The Christmas Wonderland Moët & Chandon in Zurich
While Zurich's famous shopping street, Bahnhofstrasse, lights up a few meters away with the lights of "Lucy", the doors of the exclusive Moët & Chandon Christmas Wonderland open onto the picturesque terrace of Tao's restaurant for a sparkling atmosphere in this Advent period. For ten days, the Augustinergasse garden is adorned with magical wooden cabins and brings the Christmas spirit back to life. And that with the best in terms of food and drink: stalls of Euro-Asian creations of the restaurant, a dessert hut, a hut with a champagne bar and a stand of personalized gifts are part of this exceptional decor. And for a moment of magic, a magic three-meter snow globe allows you to transform into a rotating ice princess or a living snowman, the time of a selfie for your friends and relatives. And if you'd rather just relax, come and enjoy one of the daily changing concerts, readings and DJ sets to set the perfect holiday mood!
A sparkling prelude
To mark the start of these ten special days, Moët & Chandon invites distinguished guests on the terrace of Tao's on December 1st to begin a long series of toasts! The musical atmosphere will be provided by Swiss artists Carlos Leal, Lea Lu, Kristina Bazan and a surprise guest. In addition, Fiona Zanetti will be spinning the decks with her DJ-set - and Kiki Maeder, the charming presenter, will liven up the evening. With the "Toast for a Cause" campaign, guests will support a series of charitable actions.
