Festival Fashion is really fun!

Festival season is approaching and from Coachella to Glanstonbury we have a lot to be excited about! Can't go to Coachella? Well you don't have to despair as also here in Switzerland we have some cool festivals and open airs and it is all kicking off with the Caprices Festival in Crans Montana from April 9th to April 12th 2015. I am so happy I will be there with H&M for the first time to enjoy the music and the all festival atmosphere.
In the last few years festival fashion has really taken centre stage together with the music when talking about festivals..from the celebrities going to Coachella or Glanstobury such as Kate Bosworth or Kate Moss it is really a great way to spot all the trends and styles for the season.
H&M loves festivals and has well as being sponsor of both Coachella and Caprices has dedicated  the collection "H&M Loves Coachella", and as you can see I am wearing some pieces of the collection in this shooting. The collection is full of cool festival pieces from fringed-hems, colourful maxi dresses to faded denims and suede pieces all in true boho-chic style.

Festival fashion is really a mix of different styles, from boho, to western, to rock it really all comes together to create a wonderful mix and a truly unique festival look.
When it comes to Festival fashion I think the first thing that comes to mind are accessories.. the more the better! A big hat is absolutely essential as it will not only protect you from the sun but also give you that boho look that all the celebrities are sporting this season.
Sunglasses are another must, to protect your eyes from the sun but also to add some style to your look! A bag with a strap is also essential as it will leave your hands free and can carry all your essentials. Don't forget to pack some travel size toiletries so you will be sure to have everything you need..especially sun cream and anti-bacterial wipes.
A nice pair of cowboy boots will make your look stylish but are also comfy enough to wear all day walking around in the fields, which is a big plus! I would avoid wearing open sandals or open shoes as the weather conditions can change very quickly and you don't want to end up with wet, muddy feet.
For the rest accessories.. go wild with stacking with bracelets and necklaces to create your own Festival look. And what to wear?
Well jeans for me are an absolute must, even better if faded and short but if the weather is still too cold to go shorty opt for a pair of black skinny jeans which will look good with almost anything.. Also essentials are fringed pieces better if in  suede which are always on trend at festivals as you can see I have picked this great fringed suede black bag from the H&M Loves Coachella. Complete your look  with  crochet tops, cute tie-dye tops or  colourful kaftans  and you will soon realize festival fashion is really fun!
