A must have for heat styling lovers:Paul Mitchell's Hot Off the Press thermal protection spray

As you know I love multi-functional products so of course as soon as I saw this product used on my hair during the Paul Mitchell's Ladies Night I had to take it home and try it for myself.
The product I am talking about is Paul Mitchell's Hot Off the Press thermal protection spray.
As a great fan of heating tools ( I honestly couldn't live without my GHD's styler now!) I know how important it is to protect hair from the heat by using a thermal protection product.
Paul Mitchell's Hot Off the Press thermal protection spray is quick dryng,  speeds up styling time as well as protecting it from heat damage.
Thermal defence, versatile style and faster styling all in one amazing product!

Using rice hull extract Paul Mitchell's Hot Off the Press builds up a barrier between fragile strands and the damage caused by heating tools. Wheat proteins on the other hand provide extra strength.
It needs to be used on dry hair before styling, it has a mist effect therefore is weightless and dries quickly. Thanks to the flexible holds it provides I found it keeps down fly-aways. It is also humidy resistant which grips and controls hair while heat styling but will also be a great help in Dubai! It is definetely coming with me on holiday as last time I was there I found very hard styling my hair due to the humidity. Can't wait to try it there!
I found my hair were not only protected but looked shiny and smellled great. If you use a lot of heating tools I would highly recommend this product as it is a brilliant thermal protection spray as well as well as holding your style in place.

L'Occitane Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc the new perfume from the "Collection de Grasse"

This Spring L'Occitane is launching Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc, the new fragrance part of the "Collection de Grasse". The story of modern parfumery began in Grasse, a lovely town in the South of France, where local growers are masters in cultivating rare and delicate flowers such as Iris, Jasmine and Orange Blossom.
L'Occitane has teamed up with Iris grower Anne Dor from the Val d'Iris in Grasse in order to create this wonderful parfum Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc.

The fragrance is fresh and velvety and combines to perfection the delicacy of the white Iris from the Mediterranean with the Blue Iris from Grasse. The fragrance is evocative of a halo of iridiscent powder on a cheek flushed by a morning chill. It is a flower to flower encounter which opens with green fruity notes of blackcurrant and citrus while the heart of the fragrance  iris is subtly spiced with ylang-ylang.

In the same collection "Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc" you will also find: shower gel, body milk and perfumed soap.

Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc shower gel cleanses the skin gently while leaving it silky soft and delicately fragranced with the same velvety scent of the Eau de Toilette.

Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc Body Milk moisturises, softens and delicately perfumes the skin with the velvety scent of the two iris.

This perfumed soap gently cleanses hands leaving them clean and fragranced with the same lovely scent of the mix between Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc.

SISLEY'S new Silky Body Oil Sun Care SPF 15

As you might now in 3 weeks I will be leaving for my holiday to Dubai..can't wait to be honest for a bit of sun! So obviously preparation is well and truly on the way..
I am already trying to get my body ready for the beach by doing more sport and being more active but also with a beauty routine consisting of exfoliating, toning and then moisturizing also with the help of toning oils. Of course I am also trying to catch a bit of sun before the holiday so that my skin will be already used to the sun.

Sisley is launching a great new product: SILKY BODY OIL  SUN CARE SPF 15. I was lucky enough to be able to test it before its official release. I have been using it on my legs and body since I have started sunbathing a bit here back home or by the lake and I really love it!
It helps to protect the skin effectively from the sun as well as moisturizing the skin and protecting it from dehydration. It feels great on the skin, and it is also very easy to apply.
SISLEY Silky Body Oil Sun Care SPF15 is also a youth protector sun care, which helps skin preserving the skin's ability to protect against the sun and the photo-aging thanks to a combination of UVA and UVB filters as well as ultra-advanced protective active ingredients. Vitamin E acetate and Sweet White Lupin extract help protect the skin from oxidative stress which is the main cause of photo skin aging.
Sweet White Lupin extracts also combined with solar filters helps protects cells from the harmful effects of UV rays this way providing effective cellular protection.
The Body Oil has a targeted action on the skin's barrier function,  Camelia oil strenghtens the barrier function to allow the skin maintaining its optimum moisture level and build greater resistance to environmental damage.
The moisturizing and nourishing formula consisting of Camelia, Sunflower and Shea Oils help the skin to recover suppleness. The silky body oil is also water-resistant which is also a big plus for me.
The spray is also multifunctional which is not only very practical but also allows an uniform distribution. The skin is left satiny-soft with a lovely natural scent of essential oils of Lavender and Geranium. My skin is ready to reveal a radiant tan. I will be taking it with me on my holiday, too combined with Sunleya G.E Spf 30 for my face and delicate areas.

Belted-up in the mountains!

As I have already mentioned in my previous post we had a great time in Crans-Montana last weekend. This is the outfit I wore on Sunday for breakfast at the hotel and for the day. I have just bought this shirt last week while shopping at H&M and I thought it was the perfect time to wear it. Usually I am not a big fan of shirts but this one just caught my eye, maybe for the unusual colour or the fact that it had a belt..not sure but I had to have it. I must say I am now re-considering shirts so you might see me wearing them more often in the near future!
I paired it with my black skinny Five Jeans and ankle boots, to keep the look casual but chic. While we were having breakfast at the hotel a clutch is always the best choice as you can take your essentials with you like your phone and lippie and just rest it on the table so you can have them handy.
What do you think of this look? Should I wear shirts more often?

Xoxo

PHILIP TREACY for MAC Collection is out now!

London's leading couture hat designer is collaborating with MAC for this great and unique collection. Treacy took inspirations from his work to create three wonderful hats to showcase perfectly the structure of the face. The products of the collection were paired with each hat to enhance face's features at their best: eyes, lips and cheekbones.
I had chance to preview the collection last night at Jelmoli in Zurich and I can really say the collection looks fab! I love the blues and the high-light powders are to die for!
A colurful feathered headress inspired Treacy in creating the Cardinal lipstick (burgundy) and Hollywood Cerise ( magenta berry). On the other hand a black lace mask, which covers the entire face only leaving one eye out is the inspirations behind Pro Long Wear Paint Pots and Fluidline Liners in beautiful sheer metallic and tropical blues.
The High-Light powder has an art-deco style to it and has arches in pink and silver inspired by a metallic hat Treacy's had in his archive and was created by using some 3-D printing.
Treacy's hats are a dream, there to inspire and this collection is certainly full of inspiration!

My wonderful weekend with H&M at Caprices Festival

Last weekend my hubby and I were invited by H&M to Crans Montana for the Caprices Festival. Well, we truly had a great time! We arrived in sunny Crans and checked in at  Hotel Royal. The hotel was absolutely fantastic so was the room. I loved the decor of the room with a lot of wood and neutral colours, very cozy and very Swiss châlet!
H&M truly spoiled us from the start by letting us find some great welcome gifts in the room, so nice! In the afternoon we went for a lovely relaxing massage at the L'Occitane Spa inside the hotel. We both had an Aromachologie massage,  the Spa only uses L'Occitane products and as you know I am a huge fan of L'Occitane so I was over the moon to try out a massage. It  was a real treat, the massage felt so nice and the products had wonderful, relaxing scents, in the end I felt like a new person!
We then took some time at the hotel's pool and then went for walk around Crans Montana to take some pictures and to enjoy a lovely hot chocolate. The place is stunning and was lovely walking around. I had been to Crans before when I was a little girl and somehow it felt like a trip down memory lane. However it has changed a lot in the years as now there are many more hotels, holidays houses and boutiques than years ago and if you are a fashionista you will be happy to know you can even find Hermes and Louis Vuitton.
At night we had a lovely dinner with the H&M team at an Italian restaurant in Crans and of course we had so much fun ! Food was good and so was the company, so what more could you want?
We then went to enjoy the night and the music at Caprices Festival where H&M was one of the main sponsors of the event so we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the night on a private boot.
H&M as you might know loves music and festivals in particular, being one of the main sponsors also at Coachella and the loves for the Cali festival this year  is shining through  with the H&M Loves Coachella collection which you can find in store now. The collection in truly Cali style has everything you need to be fashionable at Festivals in true boho style: fringed tops, laces and flowers patterned tops. As well as loving Coachella, H&M loves Caprices!
H&M had a lounge at  Caprices and we stopped there to enjoy the fun and relaxed atmosphere as well as  to meet and great some more friends and staff from H&M.
After an amazing night at Caprices, dancing and enjoying the music while late we were ready for bed and I have to confess I couldn't wait to try out what looked like a very cozy and comfortable bed. Well, the bed didn't disappoint  as we had a great night of sleep and felt revived in the morning,
We enjoyed a great breakfast with the H&M team before going back home. Honestly I felt quite sad to leave as we had such a great time.
We truly had an amazing time, thanks so much H&M for everything!
