MAC Brows are it!

Brows are it! Let's face never like before eye brows are definetely having a moment! We all want amazing arches as we know how important they are, they frame our face and even with no or little makeup on if our brows are spot on we can look fab! They are a very important feature if not the most important feature in our face and it is no wonder MAC has decided to dedicate to brows an entire collection of products.

You will be able to shape and define your brows thanks to MAC faboulous brow enhancers products. 

Of course it isn't the first time that MAC has released some brows products but it is the first time they have dedicated a full collection to them showing how key brows are in achieving a perfect look! So wheter you want to go for a natural and soft look or a bold and defined look you have a product which will help you achieve it.

 The collection has really something for everyone and it includes:  Brow Set and Brow Duo, Eye Brows, Big Brow pencils, Fluidline Gel Browcreme, two brushes and the Veluxe Brow Liners.

Of course I couldn't wait to give the products a go and I have really been working on my brow game lately.

I tried out some of the products of the collection such as the Big Brow Pencil,  Brow Duo, Veluxe Brow Liner and Brow set.

I started with the thick crayon Big Brow Pencil and with strokes filled in my brows. I have really fallen in love with this pencil as it is very easy to use, it is quick and it glides effortlessy to give you a wonderful natural look. This pencil is perfect to fill in any gaps, clings well to hair and gives you a very natural result.

Then used the Veluxe Brow Liner which is a smooth pen which glides to create a sheer wash of colour. It has a creamy texture and is very easy to use and blend so well with any brow colour. It feels wonderfully comfortable and fresh. After I used the Brow Duo, a pairing of two powders with a brush to highlight and fill the brows even more. The Duo lash Comb / Brow brush was also very useful to groom and shape brows, the other side can be used to comb lashes.

The brow set is perfect to finish off your look, to give it some colour while also keeping your untamed brows in place.

I also applied the Prep + Prime Highlights on my brow bow to give some added brightness and light and it also works so well as a eyeshadow primer and dark circle concealer. Although is not necessarily to do with brows but still a mean to achieve a perfect eye look I decided to try the new Pro Beyond Twisted mascara. Let me say I am hooked! The flexible wand can bend in all directions up to a 90 degrees angle and gives you great definition and volume.

Of course for this look I went full on trying out all these products, combining them but of course you could use them also on their own depending on the look you want to go for. Just have a go and find your fav brow product.. Brows are it!

BIG BROW PENCIL

A chubby mechanical pencil to create unstructured, full-sized brows.

Very easy to use, it doesn't need sharpen and gives you a beautiful effect all without looking too overdone. It makes a difference as my brows definetely have more structure and definition but still look natural.

It is available in five shades: Fling, Coquette, Cork and Spiked

PRO LONGWEAR WATERPROOF BROW SET

A non-greasy formula with a small precision brush that softly sets hairs. It is a brush-on gel that grooms and defines brows, while also shading them. You can decide to create subtle or dramatic looks. The small Christmas tree-like brush applies the gel with great precision. It is waterproof and very long lasting as it is smudge- and flake proof.  Available in Girl Boy, Beguile and Show off.

DUO LASH COMB / BROW BRUSH

A lash comb for silky, full lashes and a brow brush for brow-shaping and grooming.

BROW DUO

A pairing of complementary powder colours to match and highlight a range of brow shades.

Use an angled brush and mix both shades. Apply along the hairline to naturally fill in brows and create an even finish of lowlights/highlights.

Available in Blonde (omega/soba), Redhead (espresso/cork), Brunette (brun/coquette)

VELUXE BROW LINER

This liner is highly pigmented and gives a precise application. The rich powdery  texture gives a matte and velvety payoff. The liner has a spoolie on one end to achieve a groomed, perfect look. Apply to brows directly to fill in, define and add colour.

Available in Strawberry Blonde, Brunette, Redhead, Deep Brunette, Deep Dark Brunette, Omega, Taupe, Dirty Blonde, Velvetone and Fling.

PREP + PRIME HIGHLIGHTER

This pen style highlighter gives a soft sheer wash of colour to skin. It can be applied with a brush to add radiance where needed. It goes on very smoothly, can be used to highlight, for touch-ups or to brighten. I use it as a brow bone highlighter and as a eye shadow primer..wonderful! It brightens while looking natural!  It also works well in hiding dark circles.. a true must-have product in any makeup bag!

PRO BEYOND TWISTED LASHES

Mascara

This mascara has a flexible wand which can bend up to a 90 degree angle. Since I discovered it I must say I am obsessed by it! Its flexible wand can bend in all directions, this way you can decide which definition and result you want to achieve. The wand and small mascara brush let you reach top, bottom as well as inner and outer lashes with a perfectly clear view while you are applying it.

The formula it is lightweight and flake resistant.
